CHARON is a general framework for Service Access Control (SAC) in Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). It enables Service Providers to integrate access control in their Service landscape easily and without any direct modification. CHARON was developed with respect to the well-known and commonly used Service Access Control Pattern.
